The relationship between smell and memory is based on brain. The olfactory bulb, which processes scents, is directly connected to the limbic system, which regulates emotions and memories. This intimate association explains why smelling a familiar fragrance can instantaneously trigger a flood of memories and emotions. For example, freshly cooked roti may transport you back to your grandmother’s kitchen in village, while the aroma of Sandalwood Atar may remind you of a favorite childhood Eid Festival.
Our expertise choosing top notes meets your brand to create the skin care products. Bangladeshi consumers has unique tradition and culture. It is different from the trends & preferences of countries in the subcontinent. They prefer strong, long lasting and blends aroma compare to our neighboring countries. Oily skin can make scents more intense and long-lasting, while dry skin can cause scents to fade faster. It is not always the aroma but the application is significant to choose the right fragrances.
The top note is the initial scent, the middle note develops after application, and the base note lingers . Select notes that complement each other. Common fragrance types include floral, fruity, citrusy, woody, herbal, and mint .
Some people think that the toothpastes are always minty;
however, there are a range of flavors available for adults
and children including:
•Minty
•Sweet flavors, e.g., fruity
•Sour flavors
•Spicy flavors
•Unflavored
When choosing a fragrance for home care products, you
can consider the following:
Notes
•Fragrances are made up of top, middle, and base
notes. When layered, these notes interact to create a new
scent.
Longevity
•Some scents fade quickly, while others can last
longer. Layering fragrances can increase their longevity.
The concentration of essential oils in a perfume determines how long the scent lasts. Perfumes with higher concentrations of essential oils last longer. Here are some common types of perfumes and their concentrations:
•Eau de Parfum: Contains 15–20% essential oils
•Eau de Toilette: Contains 5–15% essential oils
•Eau de Cologne: Contains 2–6% essential oils
Perfumes can be categorized by their scent type, such as warm, woody, oriental, or fresh. For example, fresh scents often use aquatic and citrus notes, while warm scents often use florals and fruit scents
When choosing a fragrance for your foundation, opt for a very subtle, neutral scent like a light floral, clean musk, or a barely-there fresh scent to avoid overpowering the natural skin scent and potentially irritating sensitive skin; prioritize fragrance-free options if you have sensitive skin or prefer a completely odorless base. Scented nail polish was not a before millennium discovery and has recently just found its way into different global brands each with their own fresh, fruity or classic whiff.
